Capcom confirms Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Japan release

It seems as if there is an onslaught of Resident Evil news recently, and it doesn't look like it is stopping anytime soon. Of course, most of the news being reported is about Resident Evil 6, but let's not forget about Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City as Capcom today announced it will be released in Japan on April 26.

Of course, it won't actually be called Resident Evil in Japan. Instead, as is the normal in Japan, it will be changed to Biohazard: Operation Raccoon City. It will be available for the Xbox 360 and the PS3 for a price of 6990 Yen or around $92. (Just a fun little fact for you) There will also be a special addition of the title that will sell for 9,490 yen. It will be packed with all kind of goodies including a Concept Guide book, a Raccoon City Secret Report DVD and a card case.

As for the US release, it is currently set to release on March 20, 2012 for both the Xbox 360 and PS3.
