Capcom Digital Collection release date unveiled

In a mid-December press release last year, Capcom announced that are releasing several Xbox Live Arcade titles onto one disc for retail, dubbing it the "Capcom Digital Collection." The collection features eight of Capcom's best, previously released arcade games, all on one disc for $39.99, exclusively for the Xbox 360.

Today, Capcom announced that the collection will be hitting store shelves on March 27, 2012, shipping with the following games:

  • 1942: Joint Strike
  • Bionic Commando Rearmed 2
  • Final Fight Double Impact
  • Flock!
  • Rocketmen: Axis of Evil (plus expansion)
  • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
  • Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
  • Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3

Several of these games (cough cough Joint Strike cough cough), were once best sellers on the Xbox Live Marketplace, and are definitely worth checking out. Even if you are a fan of only one of these games, don't pass up the opportunity to play eight stellar arcade games.
