Capcom honors 25 years of Mega Man with 10 CDs of music

Capcom is preparing a 10-disc album for release in Japan to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Mega Man.

Available exclusively through the e-Capcom website, the "Rock-can Sound E Can" includes 10 CDs and a booklet, all contained in a steel case modeled after an energy power-up from the game.

The soundtrack spans all the numbered Mega Man games, with the first six accommodating both Famicom and PlayStation versions. The E-Can will go on sale in Japan on September 19 for ¥14,700 ($183.56).

No word yet on a North American release.
