As Capcom details their Collector's Edition for Street Fighter V the game has been finishing up its developmental changes. Apparently, in Street Fighter V it won't matter if you're a veteran of the game series or not, the developers have aimed to make the game open to every level of player.
"When we talked about making Street Fighter V, we wanted to make sure we lowered the bar for entry as much as humanly possible," Ono explained to Game Informer. "One way we did that is to take care of it on the system level. What we wanted to do was eliminate the gap between really, really strong players and new players as much as possible.
"We wanted to make it so that almost everything you learned in the previous title got thrown out the window–at least as much as humanly possible. In doing so, we ended up narrowing the gap between really strong players and new players. It's a very small gap now."
The different in Street Fighter V compared to previous Street Fighter games it the V-Systems (V-Trigger, V-Skill, and V-Reversal) that is entirely new to the series. This system will keep veteran players from being able to use past skills to steamroll new opponents. Ono did suggest that those that choose to dive into the V-System will widen the gap between players rather quickly.
