Capcom making Dragon’s Dogma easier with new patch

Capcom is releasing a patch soon that will add an easy mode to both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Dragon's Dogma.

Scheduled for August 6, the feature will let players switch difficulties in the option menu at any time — including changing to easy mode.

PlayStation 3 owners will also be able to download a demo for the game on August 9. The demo allows newcomers to test the game, from creating a new character up to the hydra battle. Data from the demo can be imported into the full game.

Capcom sold over one million copies of Dragon's Dogma, reporting a 290 percent profit increase overall largely due to the game's success.
