Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite is the next entry in the mash-up fighting game series Marvel vs Capcom. It was shown at San Diego Comic Con with a number of new characters revealed. Last month, we got a story trailer at E3, which actually shows the iconic fighting game including a story where Marvel and Capcom protagonists team up against evil. But certain characters had quite a difference between their in-game model and their cutscene model, and people weren't too pleased about it.
Luckily, Capcom received this criticism positively and has been working to improve. Speaking during a panel at SDCC, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite producer Yoshinori Ono was quick to address the concerns.
Speaking to GameSpot, he said, "“based off the feedback we heard, we are currently making improvements to Chun-Li as well as other Capcom characters” in terms of their character models. "Since the work is still in progress, we don’t have anything final to show you just yet, but stay tuned.”
Infinite has been in development for some time now, and with release being so soon, it's unclear what improvements can be made in such a short amount of time. We'll have to see the finished product when Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite releases for PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 19.
