Capcom to Possess DS Gamers with Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective

Capcom PR recently released news that their upcoming DS-exclusive puzzle/adventure game, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, will be coming to America on January 11, 2011. Designed by the creative force behind the reknown Ace Attorney series, Shu Takumi, Ghost Trick is a game where players are transported into the spirit world of Sissel where a murder victim that has become a ghost has lost his memory and is attempting to solve his own demise. Sissel has the ability to possess inanimate objects from the real world and manipulate them in order to influence events. Featuring “quirky characters, gorgeous visuals, incredible drama, and Rube Goldberg-flavored puzzles, this is a guaranteed recipe for unadulterated awesome.”

Ghost Trick received a 34/40 from Famitsu, selling a total of 24,000 copies during its initial release week.
