The third big Marvel superhero team-up movie Avengers: Infinity War is set to start production early 2017 and a casting call has revealed which heroes fans can expect in this massive team up, among those are Captain Marvel's first appearance.
As Omega Underground reported, this casting call is primarily for "extras, stand-ins, photo-doubles, and possible featured roles", but later the listing posted by moviecastingcall.org, features the full cast and includes some previously only rumored characters.
The biggest reveal is probably that Brie Larson's Captain Marvel or her alter ego Carol Danvers at least, will make an appearance in Infinity War ahead of the premiere of her own film. It was first announced back in July that Larson would play Captain Marvel in Marvel's first female lead film.
Additionally, moviecastingcall.org also claims that all of the guardians in Guardians of the Galaxy will appear in Infinity War as well, something Vin Diesel confirmed earlier. Though this listing also includes Karen Gillan's Nebula as well, something earlier reports never mentioned (mostly because she was a villain in the first film).
The listing further reveals that Balck Panther, one of the newest additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will join the clash. With the hype over a new Spider-Man film and his appearance in Civil War many thought he would also be a part of Infinity War but according to this listing Peter Parker needs to sit this one out, probably because he has high school classes to attend.
Avengers: Infinity War will be directed by the brothers Anthony and Joe Russo and is set for release on May 4, 2018, and a few weeks ago they teased eager fans with a picture on Instagram with the simple text "Scouting.".
