Carbine Studios outlines plans for WildStar at San Diego Comic-Con 2013

Carbine Studios has announced its plans for upcoming future-fantasy MMORPG WildStar at the San Diego Comic-Con next week. Looking to show off one of the most anticipated MMOs of the year, Carbine will be hosting two events — a panel discussion with the game's lead designers and directors, and a separate fan event.

At the panel discussion, Lead Narrative Designer Chad Moore, Content Director Mike Donatelli, Creative Director Matt Mocarski, and Design Producer Stephen Frost will explain how characters and stories are developed in WildStar. They will discuss the creative process behind key characters, the development of story arcs, and how those efforts culminate in making the player the star of the show. The panel will be held on Friday, July 19, at the San Diego Convention Center in room 24ABC between 11:30am and 12:30pm.

A separate fan event held the same day at the Hotel Palomar, SummerSalt Rooftop Pool Deck and Lounge. This event will be held between 7-11pm and will give attendees a chance to actually play WildStar, get a first-hand look at two new races and talk with devs who have worked on the game.
