Hand of Fate, the unique mix of card-games and action RPGs, is getting a sequel according to an announcement from Defiant Development.
The Australian based developers released a short announcement trailer showing that a Hand of Fate 2 is in development. The trailer is very short and it doesn't really show much of the game besides that it is on its way.
The first Hand of Fate was partially funded via Kickstarter and managed to collect a total of $54,095 AUD, the second installment of Hand of Fate hasn't been put up on any crowd funding platform which seems reasonable since the first Hand of Fate was quite successful and got high scores from critics.
Hand of Fate is a mix between card games, like Hearthstone and Magic the Gathering, and action RPG where players has to build their own card decks and also do real time fighting. Quite a unique formula. From what little it shown in the trailer it seems like Hand of Fate 2 will be similar to it's predecessor without any major changes.
Hand of Fate has no fixed release date yet but according to the game's Steam Store page it will be out for Window, Mac, and Linux in early 2017
