Rising Star Games and developer Bohemia Interactive are reviving Carrier Command with the next entry in the series, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission. According to Rising Star, the upcoming title will modernize the series, updating the beloved 1988 hit strategy title.
Gaea Mission will feature first- and third-person strategy gameplay across 30 different islands. Players will be required to take control of several types of vehicles as they tackle the game's campaign, all the while collecting upgrades and enhanced weaponry to really bring the fight.
An exact release date hasn't been announced by Rising Star yet, but the company is planning to release Gaea Mission this fall on the Xbox 360 and PC for $59.99 and $49.99, respectively. If you're looking to scratch that strategy gaming itch or you fancy yourself a fan of the original Carrier Command, keep an eye on Gaea Mission.
In the meantime, why not check out some screenshots from the game? You're welcome.
