Earlier today, EA Sports discussed some of the new features of NHL 15, the first entry of the franchise on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. With that announcement came the NHL 15 Cover Vote.
Starting today, fans will get to decide who will be the face of the next generation of hockey videogames via the EA Sports NHL 15 Cover Vote Campaign. There are eight players whom you can vote for at NHL.com/CoverVote to make it through rounds of elimination. If you want double the amount of votes, fans can use player-specific hashtags on "Twitter Vote Thursdays," as well as discussing the votes using #NHL15CoverVote.
The NHL 15 Cover Athlete candidates are:
- Patrice Bergeron, Boston Bruins: #NHL15Bergeron
- Logan Couture, San Jose Sharks: #NHL15Couture
- Drew Doughty, Los Angeles Kings: #NHL15Doughty
- Matt Duchene, Colorado Avalanche: #NHL15Duchene
- Erik Karlsson, Ottawa Senators: #NHL15Karlsson
- Phil Kessel, Toronto Maple Leafs: #NHL15Kessel
- T.J. Oshie, St. Louis Blues: #NHL15Oshie
- P.K. Subban, Montreal Canadiens: #NHL15Subban
