The developers that brought us Castle Crashers and Battleblock Theater have revealed the first 20 minutes of gameplay from their upcoming game, codenamed Game 4. Even though The Behemoth haven't revealed the name for the game, the little tactical strategy game has come a long way since its original reveal.
The game was first revealed days before PAX Prime 2014 through a cinematic trailer that told us very little: Will Stamper would be narrating the game, the Cosmic Bear from Battleblock crashed into the game's world, and the world has emerald blood that rains down from the sky – sometimes in such huge globs people die.
During PAX Prime 2014, The Behemoth revealed a gameplay demo showing off combat, team customizations (looks and strategies), and a bit of the world as narrated by Stamper.
Recently, The Behemoth released the first 20 minutes of gameplay with our hero Horatio. The video is filled with combat, narration, story, absolute craziness, oddities, comedy, and anger. Since the last time they showed off the game, our hero went from being a fighter in an Arena, to a farmer and then more specifically to a blueberry farmer. There are new icons, better chat bubbles and more.
Check out the game, it looks like it could be pretty funny:
Game 4 will be available with a solo story mode, 2 player co-op story, and 2v2 Arena. So far, it been announced to be headed to the Xbox One and Steam.
