Castle Crashers is 50 percent more awesome today only

The Behemoth has slashed the price of its popular beat-em-up Castle Crashers for one day only on Steam (PC and Mac). You can get it now for 50 percent off the normal price, or $7.49.

Castle Crashers released in 2008 on Xbox 360, took two years to come to the PlayStation 3, and waited two more to launch on PC. Two downloadable-content packs only cost 99 cents each. The multiplayer-centric game is compatible with Steam's Big Picture Mode.

The deal ends in about 16 hours.

Last month, the developer released is latest title, the platformer BattleBlock Theater, on Xbox Live Arcade.
