Koji 'IGA' Igarashi, best known for working as both a video game designer and producer for the Castelvania game series, has successfully launched his project on Kickstarter. It's been four years since Iga last worked as producer on a game, and this time Konami won't be playing a part in his game – it's all Iga, Inti Creates and Kickstarter backers.
That's right, the game that had Castlevania fans perplexed for months is on Kickstarter.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has a Kickstarter goal of $500K and it looks like Iga and his team will be hitting their goal shortly (if it hasn't already by the time you read this). The game has plenty of stretch goals that if hit will bring a second playable character, nightmare difficulty and DAVID HAYTER (voice of Snake in Metal Gear Solid series).
