A new video released today shows off 16 full minutes of the console version of Diablo 3.
Blizzard's action-role-playing game has endured a troubled release since it launched on PC and Mac a little over a year ago, but now it's coming to consoles — with the option for local multiplayer. That's offline play! Hooray!
The video contains footage from the PlayStation 3 version of the game (Diablo 3 is also due for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4), with four players joining in.
I'm actually excited for the new release since Iaunch problems kept me well away from Diablo 3 last May. But I'm not opposed to giving this a shot now that Blizzard has had a chance to mull over some of the biggest issues. The game even has a new director, Josh Mosqueira.
