Cave Story creator unleashes two more games on 3DS

Daisuke “Pixel” Amaya is bringing two of his other games to 3DS, alongside Cave Story.

Nicalis (which also published Cave Story) will be releasing both early this year, according to Siliconera. Amaya previously released Ikachan, where you play as a squid exploring an underwater kingdom, for PC in 2000. It's free to download and play, and now you can expect it on the 3DS on January 31.

Guxt is a vertical shoot-em-up, and the 3DS version includes the option to let you hold the system sideways so that the entire top screen is used. Amaya has not confirmed a release date, but the game is scheduled for first quarter.
