Developer CCP has released a new video diary focusing on the vehicles of destruction in their upcoming tree-to-play first-person shooter, Dust 514.
In the video vehicle game designer Ryan Thorton details the heavy and light vehicles, as well as dropships that players can purchase, customize, and upgrade in the game. These vehicles can be called in on demand, can have a major impact on the battlefield and can turn the tide for a team.
For those unfamiliar, Dust 514 is a free-to-player shooter available only on the PlayStation 3. Although it's specifically designed for the PS3 console, players in Dust 514 have a direct impact on the players of popular PC MMO EVE Online, and vice versa. What happens on the planets in Dust 514 will have a lasting effect in the overall galaxy of EVE Online. The latest 'Precursor' update went live in August, finally connecting the two games.
