CDL gives away 10,000 Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta codes

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has had plenty of news and reveals this week. That said, there’s one last thing that you should probably know before we head into the weekend.

Call of Duty is having their Call of Duty League eSports championship this weekend. On Sunday, viewers will have the chance to win 1 of 10,000 beta codes for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The only other way to get a beta code is to pre-order a digital copy. Unlike previous years, snagging a physical copy at a retailer like GameStop will not net you a beta code for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

While no dates have been given for the beta, the multiplayer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set to be revealed on September 9th. You can likely expect the beta itself around the end of September or in October.

Fans can also earn calling cards and a knife blueprint for Modern Warfare by tuning into the CDL championship. The 4 teams competing will be Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, London. All you need is to have a Call of Duty account linked to your platform of choice and sign in while watching the championship on CallofDutyLeague.com.

The championship will run from 12PM ET – 5:30PM ET on Saturday and 2:30PM ET – 4PM ET on Sunday. You can only get a beta code and knife blueprint during the Sunday stream, though.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is slated for release on November 13th, 2020 on current-gen consoles and PC. It will also be a launch title for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
