Cel-shaded zombie hack-n-slash Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z launches next March

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, a cel-shaded Ninja Gaiden spin-off, is arriving on current-gen consoles and PC on March 4, 2014, publisher Tecmo Koei announced today.

Team Ninja, Spark Unlimited, and Keiji Inafune's studio Comcept are developing the third-person hack-n-slash game for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Team Ninja has worked on the Ninja Gaiden series since its debut on the Xbox in 2004. Inafune is on board as director.

Ninja Gaiden Z stars the ninja Yaiba Kamikaze, who slices his way through countless zombie corpses.
