Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition turns three today.

They grow up so fast.
Anyhoo to celebrate the Xbox 360 Edition's birthday, Microsoft is giving away free skins. From now until May 17, three different packs of skins will be made available for free not just in the Xbox 360 version, but in the Xbox One version as well.
The first is a new bundle featuring "veteran Mojangstas and a few cheeky extras." The others are the 2nd Birthday Skin Pack from last year, and the 1st Skin Pack from Minecraft's first birthday.
"Veteran 360 players might already have the older packs, but this is the first time any of them have been available on Xbox One," Mojang explained before you all start complaining.
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition first released in May 2012. In just over a year it surpassed 10 million copies sold. I'm not sure what the latest figure is — I'm sure a quick Google search could do the trick — but does it really matter? I think we can all be satisifed with a simple "Minecraft has sold a sh*t ton across the various platforms it's available on."
