Capcom has released a new launch trailer for Strider, which is available today on PS4 and PS3 as a digital download through PSN.
Strider is in the same vein as Metroidvania, in that it's gear-gated. The game begins in the expansive metropolis of Kazakh City, but as you explore the city, you'll gain new abilities and items which can be used to open access to "a truly massive and expansive interconnected game world." Strider is described as a side-scrolling platformer with "fluid, lightning quick combat" and "free-flowing traversial" through the city.
Though available today on PlayStation platforms, Strider will be released for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC tomorrow, February 19. It's priced at $14.99. Check out what our friend's around the web are scoring the newly released game.
