Celebrate zombie killing with the Dead Island Riptide launch trailer

Today, Dead Island Riptide launched on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. To accompany the release, Deep Silver and Techland put together a launch trailer for the game. It has everything you'd expect to see in it: zombies, running from zombies, big terrifying monsters, shooting zombies in head, hacking zombies apart with a machete, shooting more zombies, and lots of blood.

Dead Island Riptide brings more of the open-world, first-person action gameplay with RPG elements that the first game had, complete with co-op. The story for Riptide picks up right where the last one left off. The heroes from the first Dead Island that survived the terror of Banoi have escaped via helicopter to the safety of a military ship. But when a furious storm hits and the virus suddenly spreads throughout the crew, the nightmare starts all over again, leaving hope drowning in the rising tides.

A new character is also introduced. John Morgan is a master in hand-to-hand combat. His career in the navy has been spent as a cook on the military ship, but he's about to see some action, I'd say.
