At Gamescom, Blizzard announced that the Medic from StarCraft 2 will be the next dedicated support character added to Heroes of the Storm. One of her major abilities will be summoning a medivac vehicle that allows for her to get to all points of the map. Blizzard’s Dustin Browder cautions that this is a tricky skill to master and "if you don't know what you're doing, it can be a real mess."
The news comes along with further changes coming to Heroes of the Storm, including scrubbing a lot of Team League mode and further changes to the game’s matchmaking process. They’ll also be resetting all ranks in Hero League, however, only your visible ranking will be reset and you’ll still retain your MMR. This will keep things on an even playing field for placement matches.
