Another day, another update on the status of Driveclub and its connection issues which have plagued the game since launch.
According to developer Evolution Studios, the addition of more servers and constant server updates are resulting in "steadily improving connectivity for everybody."
"Improving server performance is taking time, which is frustrating for all of us, but please understand that we are doing everything we can to get all aspects of online play up and running smoothly as quickly as possible," Evolution said.
In addition to the status update, Evolution Studios also confirmed changes made to Driveclub's multiplayer today "to ensure that there are more events available to you, and that you have more variety when you choose to race with and against other drivers online."
Once again, there was no mention of when PlayStation Plus members can expect the release of Driveclub PS Plus Edition. The free, slightly stripped-down version of the racing game was supposed to launch alongside the retail version on October 7, but the server issues caused a delay. It has now been two weeks and all we've heard is that Evolution Studios is "working hard" to get the PS Plus Edition released "as soon as possible." Unfortunately, all they can do is wait for "concrete info" from Sony.
