Charles Martinet is a busy, busy man. When he's not voicing Mario in the 132 titles to star the Italian plumber every year, it seems he's doing his part for the indie game community.
Martinet's latest endeavor involves Bit.Trip Presents Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien. The title, which is developer Gaijin Games' next project and the follow-up to the WiiWare original Bit.Trip Runner, is due out on consoles and PC sometime next year.
So what exactly does the voice of Mario do in Runner 2? Quite a bit, actually. "He does all the narration for all of the cutscenes and the advertisement in the beginning," stated Gaijin's Alex Neuse.
Runner 2 will be available on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, the Wii U eShop, and Steam in 2013.
