During Microsoft's gamescom 2015 press briefing yesterday, Deep Silver's Dambuster Studios gave us our first look at Homefront: The Revolution. It came in the form of both a cinematic trailer and a six-minute gameplay video of the single-player campaign. In case you missed it, we now have it.
The gameplay video above showcases The Resistance waging guerrilla warfare against KPA forces in the Red Zone, the war-torn outskirts of Philadelphia. For those unfamiliar with the game, which was first announced over a year ago, Homefront: The Revolution throws players into a near future dystopia. With catastrophic events having brought the United States to its knees, the Korean People's Army forces now impose a brutal military occupation. Philadelphia has become a police state, where surveillance drones and armored patrols rule with with totalitarian force. And of course, as a Homefront title, it's up to you to use everything at your disposal to fight against the overwhelming odds.
Today's gameplay video is just a taste of what you can expect when Homefront: The Revolution releases in 2016. Also revealed this week was a new partnership between Deep Silver and Microsoft that will see Homefront's multiplayer beta launch early on Xbox One.
