Check out 8 minutes of Resident Evil 4 on current gen consoles

Resident Evil 4, arguably the best game in the entire series is about to be playable on both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 when it re-releases later this month on August 30th. If these two videos are any indication, Resident Evil 4 will run better than it ever has before as it is targeting a 1080p, 60fps and comes packed with all of the game's bonus content. That includes the New Game Plus and Mercenaries Mode as well as Ada Wong's side story.

Capcom posted these videos to the official Biohazard YouTube channel, and they showcase two different sections of the game. The first is some of the early moments of the game where Leon enters the mysterious Spanish village in search of the President's daughter. The second video is from a later section in the game where Leon and Ashley enter a castle filled with Illuminados.

It's amazing that this game is already 11 years old, and if you are a fan of the game, you won't want to miss out on this brand new HD port.
