Check out Agents Mulder and Scully in first X-Files teaser

The first official look at Special Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully has arrived, hidden in a promotional video for the 201 days of The X-Files program from FOX. Around 30 seconds into the video you will see new footage for the 13-episode series reboot that begins on January 24, 2016.

The X-Files originally premiered in September 1993 and spanned nine seasons with 202 episodes in total. Starting today, Fox will be airing one episode a day, from the beginning, for the next 202 days – building up to the reboots premiere next year.

The original series earned 16 Emmy Awards, five Golden Globes, and a Peabody Award over its lifetime. The series creator and writer, Chris Carter will be reprising his role for the six-episode reboot that has been described as 'slow,' 'intense,' and 'functional' by Gillian Anderson (Scully).

You can check out the first official images from the set here.
