Indie sensation Fall Guys is kicking off Season 2 very soon and to celebrate the much-anticipated new content, we now have a sneak peek at a brand-new obstacle course titled ‘Knight Fever’. Watch it here!
Developer Mediatonic and publisher Devolver Digital really hit it out the park with the cutesy party game Fall Guys. Having launched early-on this year in February, the deceptively simple race for survival managed to garner millions of gamers in a flash. It sure helped that it was given for every PS+ member for free but even on Steam it solved more than 7 million copies. Insane numbers!
Understandably, Mediatonic immediately went to work on Season 2 for Fall Guys to prevent players from burning out on the existing content and dropping it. We previously learned that the new season would focus on a Medieval setting and today we get to witness a new level.
Massive Online Pandemonium: Dive into a series of ridiculous challenges and wild obstacle courses with masses of other competitors online, all with the hopes of making the cut and advancing to the next round of mayhem.
In an exclusive coverage via IGN we also learn more about ‘Knight Fever’. Designed as the starting race, 60 players will have to use their skills and cunning to make it to the finish line and qualify for the next round. Success in Knight Fever will be trying for even veteran since it is filled with medieval-themed obstacles that will kick any player out unfortunate enough to make their acquaintance.
The future for Fall Guys looks bright with Season 2 starting off this Thursday, October 8th. Together with new levels and activities, players can also look forward to unlocking all kinds of era-appropriate cosmetics while trying to not fail hilariously.
