Check out Moving Hazard, an FPS that let’s you use zombies as weapons

Yup, that's right. And it's pretty damn cool too

Psyop Games and Illfonic have announced their new FPS Moving Hazard, a post apocalyptic multiplayer shooter that allows you to use the enemy zombies as weapons of your own as well.

The studio announced that Moving Hazard is not simply our standard FPS with zombies thrown in the mix. Oh, no no. In the game, according to Psyop, you will need to use zombies as

They are a dynamic part of the battleground which you must navigate, manipulate, and ultimately weaponize in order to defeat your human foes. In addition to having a selection of military-grade assault weapons at their disposal, players will also need to take advantage of technology specifically evolved to allow them to control the zombies that they encounter by attracting, repelling, sedating, angering, or booby-trapping them, as well as a wide variety of additional tactics.

The weapon used for zombie control is the Pheromone Attractor Molotov or PAM for short. Any zombie that gets hit by the weapon will become illuminated with the color of your character and begin to attack other enemies for a brief stint. Moving Hazard also features weapons like a Chaos grenade which has a twofold function by stunning your enemies and enraging zombies while the Templar acts like a zombie dog whistle of sorts and sends them running away. For now, six multiplayer maps are also going to be included.

Psyop has a wealth of experience at their backs with work on games ranging from Red Dead Redemption, Crysis 3, Evolve, Star Citizen, Killer Instinct, Battletoads and more. From what we see so far, it's one of the most innovative shooters to be released in a while and currently has a release window of 2016. Specific platforms were not mentioned but we've contacted Psyop for clarification. Take a look at some screen shots below and the pre-alpha footabe up ^^^
