Check out new screenshots from Disney Infinity 3.0’s Rise Against the Empire

As we know, when Disney Infinity 3.0 launches later this year, it will largely focus around Star Wars play sets as its main theme; although, it will also have play sets based on the Avengers as well as the latest Pixar movie, Inside Out. Last week we got a good look at the Twilight of the Republic play set.

Today, we get a look at the second play set, Rise Against the Empire, which will feature storylines and locations from the original trilogy, spanning Episodes IV – VI. The only play set we have yet to see is The Force Awakens, and considering that might feature a bunch of spoilers, it's not that surprising.

The screenshots here feature everything from Han's encounter with Greedo on Tatooine, to the epic battle on Hoth against the attacking AT-ATs, the battle of Endor as well as the climactic Trench Run. It looks as though the game will have all its bases covered when it comes to recreating epic moments from the original trilogy.

The Rise Against the Empire play set will be available alongside the release of Disney Infinity 3.0.
