PtoPOnline has given us a look at the Diddy Kong racing game for the GameCube that never made it out of being a sales pitch and a demo. Th game, Diddy Kong Racing Adventure was pitched by game developer Climax to Nintendo around April 2004.
The game would have been set after Diddy Konh defeated Whiz Pig on his home planet. After his defeat, the pig from space conjured up a plan for a rematch that involved Kong-napping and turning Kong island into a giant raceway.
With the entire island a raceway, Diddy would race against the space pig for victory, along with a number of his friends. In addition to the racing, the game would feature an adventure mode spread out across six villages.
