Hugh Jackman has made it clear that Logan will be the final film where Jackman plays the role of Wolverine. With the final trailer having released (even though another teaser released after) and the film being rated, we are well on our way to seeing the end of Jackman's Wolverine.
As March 3rd approaches, we should take a moment to appreciate the evolution of Jackman's Wolverine – he's been playing the character for the last 17 years after all.
Starting back in 2000, Jackman was cast as Wolverine in Bryan Singer's X-Men and didn't get that many lines in the film. In 2003, he reprised his role in X2: X-Men United and cameoed in 2011's X-Men: First Class.
In 2013 Jackman portrayed Wolverine in a stand-alone film, The Wolverine. Following the standalone film, Jackman donned the Wolverine persona once again for 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men. This year's film is the last time we will see Wolverine played by Jackman, so let's just appreciate that for a hot second.
