Last month Poem Studios debuted their work-in-progress reboot of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic in Unreal Engine 4, called Apeiron. Once complete, Apeiron will fully remaster and reboot Knights of the Old Republic, while bringing new features like new worlds, missions, HUD, inventory items, and companions – all for free.
Before your worries of seeing the game get shut down hit, don't worry. The remake is entirely legal because it's free! The first official gameplay video for Apeiron has surfaced and while the game is still in the very early stages of development, it's looking pretty great.
