Donkey Kong Country on the SNES will always boast one of the coolest boss fight themes ever. Seriously, when I say that, I really do mean one of the best songs of all time. I'm not even joking.
Don't believe me? First of all, I feel bad for you because you obviously didn't play the excellent SNES platformer. (You really should, by the way.) Second, if you really didn't play Donkey Kong Country, or if you just need a refresher, then give the Gang Plank Galleon theme a listen.
Awesome, isn't it? Man, that brings back memories. Well, as hard as it is to believe that someone can go out and create his own version of that song and make it equally impressive, that's exactly what happened. Beatboxer Hikakin got down with his beatboxing skillz (that's not a typo) and delivered an amazing rendition of the Gang Plank Galleon music.
That's awesome stuff right there. The dude can go, and it's really cool seeing him add different layers to the song. Keep the video game music coming, Hikakin. I really look forward to seeing more beatbox versions of classic themes from this talented guy.
