The last time Bandai and Tamashii Nations got their hands on popular characters and turned them into Japanese Feudal warriors it was Star Wars. Now the duo have taken Spider-Man and turned him into an awesome Samurai warrior, just in time for Spider-Man Homecoming.
The figure, like the Star Wars figures, was designed by Takayuki Takeya, by using a combination of PVC and ABS resin, along with interchangeable body parts and accessories.
The seven inch tall figure comes with a katana and a tanto (the small blade on its waist), as well as a grappling hook and chain. In addition to weapons, the Samurai Spider-Man figure comes with a different set of hands for him to do his signature web-slinging pose.
The figure is set to release in August forĀ 9,504 yen (US$87.50).
