Yesterday, we got a full walkthrough of the memorable opening mission of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in all it's remastered glory, and today Digital Foundry did a side by side comparison of the mission running on PC from the original release in 2007 and the upcoming remaster which is running on a next-gen console (presumably PS4 since they have a marketing deal).
The commentator points out some of the notable differences at the start such as rain drops on your weapon, lens flares, and brand new character animations including facial capture. The mission still remains exactly the same in layout but has many new improvements that make it more cinematic and immersive. You can watch the video from Digital Foundry below.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be available exclusively with collector's editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare which releases on November 6th, 2016. PlayStation 4 owners can play the campaign 30 days early however if they pre-order the game before release.
