Earthbound for the SNES is one of my favorite games of all time. It's easily the best RPG I've ever played in my entire life, and it's one of the rare games I would actually say deserves a perfect 10/10 score. I mean that wholeheartedly.
Usually, whenever anything Earthbound-related pops up on the internet, fans of the classic RPG go nuts. I'm not ashamed to say that I'm one of those people. Fangamer's selection of Earthbound-themed clothing and pins got me super jolly a few summers ago. And the Mother 4 fan game is something I'm really looking forward to.
Now there's something else for gamers who appreciate one of the best games to launch during the 16-bit era. A group of wonderful music makers got together a few months ago and collaborated on a project titled I Miss You – Earthbound 2012. It's a collection of songs inspired by the game, and it's pretty awesome.
You can snag I Miss You – Earthbound 2012 on BandCamp for just $1. That's certainly a nice price tag. Alternatively, these fine folks also have the entire album on their site, where you can download it for free. If you're a fan of Earthbound, you should really check it out.
