Check out Vice.com’s Rum, Guns & Gallows episode spotlighting Charles Vane

Check out Vice.com's three-part video titled Rum, Guns & Gallows, which spotlights Pirate culture, weaponry and the most famous or infamous captains.

The three episodes will focus on the supporting cast pirates from Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, Blackbeard, Calico Jack and in this episode, Charles Vane.

Tony Key, senior vice president for Sales and Marketing for Ubisoft said:

For hundreds of years, pirates have been a part of pop-culture. Their rebel spirit mixed with part bravery and part lunacy has captured the attention of the public for generations, but sometimes folklore is mistaken for history. Just like what we’re attempting to do with Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, it is important – and oftentimes more engrossing – to know what really happened during that time period. It’s wonderful to see VICE helping tell the true story of the Golden Age of Pirates.
