Nintendo's adorable little robot is returning this October in a new side-scrolling action game for the Nintendo 3DS. Revealed today, Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash will send our favorite hero on a brand new quest filled with action.
"In Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash, Chibi-Robo must swing his plug to whip enemies, reach far-off platforms and solve environmental puzzles, as well as collect upgrades to extend his plug for getting hard-to-reach collectibles and uncovering hidden areas," Nintendo said of the new game.
Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash will launch exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems this October. Launching alongside of it, exclusively in a Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash bundle will be a brand new Chibi-Robo amiibo figure.
The new amiibo will transform Chibi-Robo into the all-powerful Super Chibi-Robo in certain stages in the game. Players can also level up the Chibi-Robo amiibo to acquire a variety of in-game collectible figures and items by saving their score at the end of each stage. More details about this special amiibo will be revealed later on.
Also announced during the Nintendo Direct Micro was a new Dr. Mario title for the 3DS — Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure.
