Chroma Squad is almost upon us! Celebrate with the launch trailer

Wow! It's pretty unbelievable that two years ago I practically begged our readers to support one of the coolest Kickstarters I've seen. And now, in April 2015, the dream of finally getting to play that game will be realized. Chroma Squad is for adult Power Ranger/Super Sentai fans. It's for the fans that religiously watched Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, and identified with those 'teens with attitude.'

In Chroma Squad, you don't simply play as a PR/SS team, you actually run the studio that produces those shows. That means you'll have creative freedom over the type of suits and helmets that will be used, the monster outfits, props, backgrounds, and even giant mechs. You're not just participating in the creation of a Power Ranger show, you're creating it!

When you're not customizing, you'll be participating in tactics-based combat, but with some Ranger inspired flavor. For instance, since the shows revolve all about teamwork, you'll be able to pull of special abilities when teaming up with various members of your squad. It's glorious. I think I have a tear in my eye.

You'll be able to create your chromatic team of justice on April 30th, when the game officiall launches on Steam. Make sure to stay tuned for our full review of the game.
