Independant filmmakers, Cinema Relics, have released the first trailer for their upcoming live-action 'Futurama' adaptation, 'Fan-O-Rama'. Check it out above!
It goes without saying, the FOX/Comedy Central animated series, 'Futurama', holds a special place in the hearts of fans. It was hilarious, inventive, witty, and heart-breakingly emotional when it needed to be. The series finally met its end in 2013, but one group of devoted fanboys just didn't want to take that lying down.
Taking matters into their own hands, independent filmmakers, Cinema Relics, have begun production on a live-action fan film called 'Fan-O-Rama: A Futurama Fan Film'. The movie features all the original characters portrayed by real actors opposite characters brought to life with some very impressive puppeteering and prosthetic make-up. While the project isn't really movie quality, the look and feel of it showcases a genuine love for the property and a desire to bring the beloved series to a format with which everyone can appreciate.
There's no word on when the movie will be released, but Cinema Relics assures everyone it will be done as soon as possible.
