Civilization 5 announces two new map packs: Scrambled Continents and Scrambled Nations

For you hard core Civilization V players, I have great news for you. If you were thinking that just because a Brave New World came out, that you wouldn’t be getting any more new DLC – you are delightfully wrong. Just today, Scrambled Contents map back has become available and then on November 5th, 2013 Scrambled Nations will be released. Both of these map packs will be selling for $4.99.

Inspired by the Civilization V scenario, Scramble for Africa, these two new map packs feature a “wide variety of real-world geographic locations as the backdrops for their games.” While the outline will always be the same, the interior landscape will be different each time; allowing for multiple playthroughs. Scrambled Continents includes Africa, Eastern Asia, North and South America, Western Europe, Middle East, thawed Antarctica, small continents, and Oceania.

Scrambled Nations will be a similar bag but specific nations with different interiors: Canada, Australia, Japan, Scandinavia, Great Britain, and China. Check your digital providers today and play some real-worldly Civ.
