Based on today's announcement from Supercell Games, it looks like Clash of Clans eagerly awaited update won't arrive until next week. And we're probably done with the sneak peeks too.
Supercell today announced that in preparation for the new update, which has yet to go live, boosting resources collectors for 24 hours will be reduced to just one gem. Based on their messaging, "Have a great weekend a boost responsibly," it sounds as though the update will not be released until some time next week.
It also means we likely won't get official patch notes until the update goes live. Thankfully, Supercell has provided us with a number of sneak peeks throughout the week giving us a good idea of what to expect: the new Lava Hound, level 13 Archer Towers, level 7 Barbarians and Archers, reduced Valkyrie training time, the ability to upgrade an entire row of wall pieces in just one go, and the option to upgrade level 6-plus walls with Elixir instead of Gold.
Keep in mind, though, that this is merely my speculation and Supercell has not actually confirmed anything regarding the update's release. We'll continue to keep an eye on the game to see if any more announcements are made over the weekend. In the meantime, enjoy your one gem boosting.
