Clash of Clans update Sneak Peek #1: Level 13 Cannons are coming

As expected, Supercell Games is readying a new update for hit mobile action-strategy game Clash of Clans. And in typical Supercell fashion, the developer will first keep us on edge with a series of teasers throughout the week. Seriously, this is like some 50 Shades of Grey-type teasing.

Kicking things off today, Supercell revealed the first new feature of the upcoming update: level 13 cannons. "It packs a punch and takes a lot of damage!" the developer said. It also looks completely badass. Those flaming cannon balls are sweet!

As usual, a little extra was found on the forums. Supercell revealed a change that healers will no longer trigger air traps. However, they'll still be targeted by Air Defense. While it sounds a bit overpowered, the healer troop had actually become kind of useless over time, so perhaps the change will make this troop viable again.

Clash of Clans received its last update two months ago. The massive December patch was pretty massive introducing a ton of new features and tweaks, including a new layout editor,combat balancing, and an overhaul to the economy.
