The sneak peeks for the incoming Clash of Clans update continued today, as developer Supercell Games revealed two more features, one via Twitter and the other through the game's official forums.
In April of last year, Clash of Clans added Clan Wars. While this was a huge player-requested feature, it's true that not everyone enjoys constantly battling in the game. Some prefer a more passive gameplay experience. So for them, this update brings the option to opt in or out of your clan's wars.
According to the teaser image, you'll be able to set your preference to be included or left out of Clan Wars. Your preference will be visible to other members of your clan, it says.
In another sneak peek on the forums, Supercell revealed that the update will also bring a new feature that allows you to see a preview image of any player's Village from their profile, without having to visit. This is more of a quality of life improvement to the game, and should remove the annoyance of constantly having to load new screens.
That's all today, but in case you missed the previous sneak peeks, they include:
- Level 13 Cannons
- Healers no longer trigger traps
- Clan Badge crafting
- Clan Castle deployment no longer prevented by tapping on obstacles or decorations
