Clash of Clans Winter Update coming soon

**Update**

The Clash of Clans Winter Update has been released and is now available for download. Check out the full patch notes here.

**Original**

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Clash of Clans. Or rather, it's beginning to look more like winter for those of you celebrate something other than Christmas. Either way, winter appears to be coming to Supercell Games' popular action-strategy mobile game.

Taking to social media, Supercell Games teased today the upcoming winter update for Clash of Clans, warning players "If you see these magical trees, don't cut them just yet – are they growing presents?"

As with most of their games' updates, Supercell will likely spend the next few days teasing us with sneak peeks. They even teased the teasers.

While we don't know the exact details of the winter update, we can expect the usual — snow, some sort of Christmasy trees that reward you with Gems, and other holiday-themed items. I'd expect a few days of sneak peeks followed by the release of the update later this week.
