Clash of Clans Winter Update sneak peek: Upgraded Archer & Inferno Towers

**Update**

The Clash of Clans Winter Update has been released and is now available for download. Check out the full patch notes here.

**Original**

Supercell Games continues to tease new features and changes coming to Clash of Clans in the upcoming Winter Update, today revealing tweaks to the Archer and Inferno Towers.

"The weather forecast in Clash predicts ARROW showers!!" Supercell teased, referring to both the wintery weather and changes to the archer tower that the update will bring. According to the brief overview, Archer towers will now shoot twice the arrows, but the damage of each arrow will be halved. A video of the new Archer Tower can be seen below.

Meanwhile, over on the forums, they exclusively teased the Inferno Tower engineering 2.0. This is just a fancy way of saying that your Inferno Towers will soon shoot for a longer time with the same amount of Dark Elixir.

These weren't the only new features teased today. Supercell also talked about some major economy-balancing changes, which you can read about here.
