Supercell's next hit mobile game, Clash Royale, will officially launch in March, but the developer announced today a soft launch on Android devices in specific regions.
As of today, Clash Royale is available on Android in Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Finland and New Zealand. It's been available in those countries for iOS since January.
The developer notes that Android Gem prices in places outside of the soft launch countries "will be a bit irregular" during the soft launch period. "This is because we haven't officially launched in these countries yet and the prices are auto-converted based on the currencies of the soft launch countries," Supercell said. "This is only temporary, however, and the prices will be defined correctly once Clash Royale goes global in March!"
For those unfamiliar, Clash Royale is a brand new, real-time, head-to-head battle game set in the Clash of Clans universe. Capitalizing on the popularity of their hit mobile game, Clash Royale "brings together the royal family with your favorite Clash of Clans troops, sometimes with a few new twists." In this real-time game, you'll battle head-to-head in various Arenas against other Challengers for Trophies, Crowns, and glory.
